Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda has introduced the new avatar of its famous retro style mini bike monkey to the global market. The Euro-5 standard engine is used in this new bike with some cosmetic changes. The bike has some new advanced features that are better than the previous model.
Although the design and frame of this bike are the same, the company has offered a new standard 124cc two-valve engine, producing 9.2bhp and 11Nm of torque. This engine comes with an improved internal low-friction coating. It gets a two-stage spring shock in the rear, which provides a comfortable ride even on rough roads.
In terms of design, keeping its height as low as before, it has features like LED lighting and Honor Back. According to the company, the weight of the bike has been reduced from 107 kg to 104 kg. No changes have been made to its electronics. Equipped with an LCD Instrument Console, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Inertia Measurement Unit (IMU), this mini bike is very special.
Let us tell you that it is the oldest bike offered by the Honda Monkey Company. The bike was first introduced in the ’60s, and still uses a peanut-shaped fuel tank to position the chrome high handlebar, as well as the frame, swingarm and shock absorbers. This bike was very popular in the seventies and is still loved by young people today. However, there are no plans to introduce this bike in the Indian market.
