Speaking to Indian Express, Chetan Zakaria said, ‘I want my father to come here to see all this. He wanted to see me play for India. I am missing him so much today. God has shown me many ups and downs in this one year. It has been a very emotional ride so far. I lost my brother and a month later I got a big IPL contract. Last month I lost my father and God chose me in Team India. I was in the hospital for seven days while my father was fighting for life. No one can fill that gap. My late father and my mother allowed me to pursue cricket.
