ICC T20I rankings: Virat Kohli one place, KL Rahul second place

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Saturday released the latest rankings of batsmen in T20 format. Star batsman KL Rahul is second with 816 points. India captain Virat Kohli has been ranked number one in the ICC rankings and he is now sixth with 697 points. David Malan of England tops the list with 915 points.

Speaking of other batsmen, Pakistan captain Babar Azam (801) rose from one place to third while Australian white ball captain Aaron Finch (788) fell to fourth. South African Van der Dusen (700) also rose to fifth place in one spot. The updated rankings have changed significantly since the first two games of the series between New Zealand and Australia.

New Zealand batsmen Martin Guptill and Devon Conway have made tremendous profits in this ranking. Conway scored 99 in the first T20 series of the five-match series against Australia, which helped him gain the batsmen’s T20 ranking. He has scored 46 and now he has climbed to 17th place. In addition, his fellow batsman Guptill has reached 11th position after scoring 97 in the second T20.

Australia’s Marcus Stoinis is 110th, 77th and Matthew Wade 118th. The list of bowlers has remained unchanged in the top five, with Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan (736) topping the list. No Indians have been included in the top 10 bowlers. New Zealand’s Tim Southee was sixth, Mitchell Santner seventh, Ish Sodhi 11 and Trent Boult took 49th place.
