Former fast bowler Brett Lee has questioned Australia’s decision to rest Pat Cummins after just two games in the recently concluded series against India. Speedhead Cummins was part of Australia’s tour of England in August and played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. The final one-day match under charge management has been rested and will not be part of the upcoming T20 series.
“This is probably not their decision. They probably want to play. The players usually want to play,” Lee told FoxSports.com AU. “He shouldn’t get tired after two games. I’ve personally played more matches than I have always found the rhythm to be good.

Australia lost the third ODI by 13 runs. The two teams will play in the three-match T20 series starting in Canberra on Friday. “If a player is injured, he can rest, but Lee believes that fit players should play as many games as possible.
“If I get a break for a week, whether it’s a tournament break or I just relax, then you have to regain the rhythm,” he said.
