The second match of the five-match Test series between India and England is taking place at the historic grounds of the Lord’s. The third day of the Test was entirely under the name of Joe Root. The English captain played unbeaten innings of 180, while England scored 391 in the first innings. India’s fast bowler Mohammed Siraj was the only bowler in India to have troubled England batsmen. Siraj took four wickets in the first innings. After bowling strongly, Siraj did something on the field, for which he is praised everywhere.

In fact, at the end of England’s innings, Siraj showed great sportsmanship and praised English captain Joe Root for his memorable innings. This style of Indian fast bowler is very much loved by the fans. This photo of Root and Siraj is going viral on social media. On the third day of the Lord’s Test, Root, along with the rest of the batsmen, put pressure on Indian bowlers. He was joined by English captain Johnny Bairstow for 121 for the fourth wicket, and in the first session, not a single England wicket fell. After the dismissal of Bairstow, Root put England in a strong position by partnering with Jose Butler and Moeen Ali. However, Root was unable to complete his double and remained unbeaten on 180.

India’s fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Siraj made Team India come back late. Ishant first broke England’s hopes of a big lead by dismissing Butler and then Moeen Ali and Sam Curran in consecutive deliveries. Siraj also gave Ollie Robinson no chance and showed him the way to the pavilion. England ended the innings with a clean bowling of James Anderson without opening a Mohammed Shami account.
