Rishabh Pant’s wicket-keeping in the second Test was highly praised. Team India captain Virat Kohli also praised Rishabh Pant after the victory. Virat said how Pant worked on his wicketkeeping skills and did better than before. Pant also took two stunning catches and two superfast stumpings in this Test match.

After the match, Virat said, ‘Rishabh Pant has worked very hard in Australia. When he is wicket-keeping, you can see the difference. He has lost weight and has done a lot of work for himself. We want him to get better as a wicketkeeper because we know how much difference his presence in the team can make.

India made history, registering the biggest win over England

Speaking of the match, India won their second Test on the fourth day in Chennai. India won the toss and batted first and scored 329 runs, in response England’s first innings was reduced to 134. India scored 286 in the second innings and gave England a target of 482 to win. In response, England’s second innings was reduced to 164. R Ashwin, who scored eight wickets in the entire match and scored 106 in the second innings, was named Player of the Match.
