However, Mohammad Shami (56 not out) and Jaspreet Bumrah (34 not out) shared an unbeaten 89 for the ninth wicket as India declared their innings at 298 for 8 in the second innings.
On the fifth and final day of the match, India set a target of 272 in 60 overs against England on Monday, but the Indian bowlers piled up the 120 for England in the 52nd over. Eight England batsmen could not reach double figures in front of India’s dangerous bowling. Following this victory, head coach Shastri has been praising the team.
