IND vs ENG: Kevin Peterson praises Ishant Sharma, know what he said

The first Test of the four-Test series between India and England is being played at M Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Both Test match days have been the names of England batsmen to date. By the end of the day, England had lost 55 wickets at 555 and the team seems to be in a very strong position. Captain Joe Root continued his amazing innings and scored his 5th double century in Test cricket. Root became the first batsman to cross the 200-run mark in the 100th Test. However, Ishant Sharma regained the Indian side in the last overs of the day and hit Butler and then Joffra Archer in two consecutive deliveries. Meanwhile, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has hailed Ishant and described him as a hero.

Sehwag trolled Pant and Rohit about Jack Leach

Peterson wrote on his Twitter handle, ‘Here is Ishant’s big spell. I say fine because 170 overs on the field is like a prison sentence. He’s a ‘Sung Hero’ (he does a fantastic job but doesn’t get that much respect). He has been in Indian cricket for many years. As a fast bowler it is very admirable. On the first day of the Test, Ishant got no wickets and bowled well on the second day, but no English batsman could get into his net.

‘Half of the team’s batsmen can’t face spin bowling as root’

After the injury, Ishant was dropped from the tour of Australia and after being fit, Syed Mushtaq Ali was seen playing for Delhi in the tournament. In the first Test, it was expected that Mohammad Siraj would be allowed along with Jaspreet Bumrah, but captain Kohli Ishant Sharma showed confidence in him and added him to the XI XI. Ishant has given India a memorable victory in a number of matches in Test cricket and he has also taken on a long form of cricket.
