The five-Test series between India and England begins on August 4. India’s bowling coach Bharat Arun, wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha and standby batsman Abhimanyu Eshwaran joined the Indian team in Durham on Saturday. The three joined the Indian team after completing their quarantine in London. All three were in close contact with throwdown specialist Dayanand Garni. Dayananda came to the Kovid test on July 14. According to the UK’s Kovid protocol, they had to spend 10 days separately.
The BCCI provided this information by tweeting. ‘It’s good to see your return,’ the BCCI wrote on Twitter. Team India bowling coaches in Durham include B Arun, Wriddhiman Saha and Abhimanyu Eshwaran. Rishabh Pant was welcomed when he joined the team. Team India’s head coach Ravishastri had arranged a grand reception. He joined Team India after completing his quarantine. Pant was the first member of the Indian team to go to England with Kovid. For this reason, he was unable to play a three-day practice match against the Select County XI.
