In the second T20 International of the three-match series, India had a target of 133 to win against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka won by four wickets, but this victory did not come easily to them. Team India 9, led by Shikhar Dhawan, came out to play in this match without any major players. The Kovid-19 test found Karnal Pandya to be positive and the remaining eight players were separated due to their close contact. The Indian spinners did not give Sri Lankan batsmen an easy run. Rahul Chahar and Varun Chakraborty bowled very tightly. Rahul Chahar was the only wicket taker in the match and was seen raging in the immediate aftermath of Hasaranga’s dismissal, but Hasaranga’s reaction won everyone’s heart.
Husranga hit a boundary on the first delivery before being dismissed, but on the next delivery, he caught Rahul’s spin and returned to the pavilion to catch Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Hasaranga scored 15 runs off 11 balls. His wicket was very important for Team India. Rahul shouted as soon as he got the wicket, and Hasaranga answered him in the same language and returned to the pavilion, but he did not. Rahul, who has won the hearts of all cricket fans, clapped for a good ball. Hassaranga’s sporting attitude was shaded by Rahul Chahar’s anger.
Vasan uplifts the spirit of the game! 👏🏽
