IND vs SL: Indian breaks back in Hassaran T20 and becomes man of the series

Sri Lanka defeated India by 7 wickets on the basis of the bowlers’ best performance in the final and decisive T20 series. With this win, the hosts won the T20 series 2-1. Sri Lanka won the T20 series for the first time against India and the biggest contributor to the team’s historic win was Vasindu Hassaranga, who scored only 9 runs in his four overs and took 4 wickets in 3 T20s. Hasaranga disturbed Indian batsmen throughout the series and took 7 wickets in 3 matches. For his strong performances, Hassaranga was awarded the Series Award.
