Sri Lankan coach Mickey Arthur screamed into the dressing room when Deepak Chahar scored four runs in 49.1 overs to take Team India to a three-wicket win. Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. Avishka Fernando, Charith Asalanka’s half-century and Chamika Karunaratne’s unbeaten 44 helped Sri Lanka to 275 for nine in 50 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets each for India while Deepak Chahar sent two batsmen to the pavilion. In reply, India won the match by scoring 277 for seven in 49.1 overs. Deepak Chahar Notout and Suryakumar Yadav top scored with 53 after 69 runs.
