Former India batsman has said that Suryakumar needs to find a place in the team’s playing XI even after the arrival of senior players. Surya, batting in the second match, scored 53 off 44 balls. He returned unbeaten on 31 on good form in the first ODI.

Yuvraj posted on his Twitter, ‘Very good! Our bench strength can also beat an international team. What a big win, Deepak Chahar, you can bat, Suryakumar Yadav has to be in the top XI. Congratulations to Captain Shikhar Dhawan, Rahul Dravid and the entire team. Suryakumar has won everyone’s performance in a series of domestic limited overs against England in the past. He hit Joffra Archer with a long six in the first delivery of his international career.
After the ODI series, Suryakumar will have the golden opportunity to prove his potential by performing well in T20 matches. It is believed that Suriya will get a place in the T20 World Cup this year. Apart from Suryakumar, Deepak Chahar also contributed to the team’s victory with a memorable 69 in the second ODI. He led the team to victory with 84 runs for the 8th wicket with deputy captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
