Injamam was angry at the PCB for accepting the West Indies’ demand, saying – “It’s our shame

Former Pakistan cricket captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has bitterly criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for accepting the offer of the West Indies. The West Indies board had demanded that the five-match T20 series against the PCB be changed to four, which the board agreed to. The series was supposed to start July 27, but now the series will be played from July 28. The decision was made after the Corona case was discovered in a one-day series between Australia and the West Indies. This was followed by a second ODI match. According to Inzamam, it has brought disgrace to Pakistan.

He said on his YouTube channel, “I don’t understand how the Pakistan Cricket Board has accepted this demand of the Cricket West Indies. Or why did the West Indies put this proposal before us? We know that West Indies had to change the timing of the one-day match against Australia due to the corona virus. But this has nothing to do with Pakistan’s T20 series. How does the PCB accept this? ‘

“The last T20 match will be held on August 3 and the Test series will start on August 12,” he said. There was a good nine-day gap between the two and the T20 match could have easily been set. If the West Indies wanted to cancel the match, they would have to do so during the Australia series. West Indies are a disgrace to Pakistan cricket.

Injamam also called for the intervention of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in this regard. He said, ‘The ICC should look into this. Changes have been made in the first Test series and now in the T20 series. I can understand the Test number being reduced as the T20 World Cup is close. But now the T20 match has been canceled, so the matter is incomprehensible. There was a problem with the Australia-West Indies match, but the match was dropped to our series. Under no circumstances should PCB accept this demand of West Indies cricket.
