Delhi’s innings had 18 fours and 14 sixes. Delhi added 77 runs in the last five overs, leaving Delhi behind the Rajasthan Royals score of 226 on this ground to become the highest score of this IPL. Prithvi and Shikhar shared a 56-run partnership for the first wicket while Prithvi along with his captain Iyer added 73 runs for the second wicket. Iyer and Pant shared a 72-run partnership for the third wicket. On the basis of these three major partnerships, Delhi scored the highest in the tournament.

This is the second highest score in Delhi’s IPL history. Delhi had scored 231 runs in the 2011 IPL against Kings XI Punjab. For Kolkata, player Pat Cummins, worth Rs 15.5 crore, took 49 runs in four overs. Varun Chakraborty took one wicket for 49, Andre Russell two wickets for 29 and Kamlesh Nagerkoti took one wicket for 35 runs.
