IPL 2021: RCB captain Virat Kohli has made history and became the first player to score 6,000 runs in IPL

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Rajasthan Royals by 10 wickets on Thursday in IPL 2021, thanks to Devadath Padikal’s spectacular century and captain Virat Kohli’s spectacular half-century. This is the fourth consecutive win for the team. Virat scored 72 and backed Padikkal with a century, including six fours and three sixes. During this innings, Virat has completed 6 thousand runs in the IPL and has set a historic record. He became the first cricketer to do so.

Padikkal scored a century against Rajasthan and RCB won by 10 wickets

Kohli had expressed his intention to play big innings by sending leg spinner Shreyas Gopal to the sixth over in the first over of the RCB innings. He allowed Paddickal to be aggressive in this partnership and he continued to play with them with intermediate shots on the other end. But in the end he accelerated his innings, in which he faced 47 balls and hit six fours and three sixes.

The 181-run partnership between Padikkal and Kohli for the first wicket was the biggest partnership chasing the team’s target. The team won by 181 runs in 16.3 overs. The team topped the points table by winning eight points in four games.

This ball of Siraj is getting much praise, the umpire’s decision had to be changed

It was Padikkal’s first century in the IPL, his century in which he hit 52 balls and hit 11 fours and six sixes. He is the third young batsman to score a century in the IPL. But he is the youngest player to do so while chasing a target. This 20-year-old player has been named ‘Man of the Match’ for his achievements. This is the 14th century for the RCB, which has the highest century of any IPL franchise.
