IRCTC partners with the Abibus service, learn what its benefits are

The online e-ticketing platform Abhibus Service has partnered with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). After this, passengers will be able to book a bus ticket at IRCTC and they will have more options.

After this partnership, IRCTC will have an inventory of one lakh bus routes. At the same time, IRCTC customers get the option of booking tickets for non-sleeper, non-AC / AC buses. Nine lakh train tickets are booked daily through IRCTC.

Abibus is the oldest ticketing platform and has sold over four and a half million tickets so far. Previously, customers could reserve bus tickets through AbhiBus.com and mobile apps.

IRCTC plans to make travel bookings easier for its customers, under which they can find a bus ticket, instead of moving from one platform to another.

Demand for tickets from Abibus has increased by 200 per cent since September 2020, when the lockdown eased. This led to partnerships with many private and government operators.
