Jadeja deserves more credit, Kaif speaks of first T20 match – miss the last two

Ravindra Jadeja’s all-round skills have “weakened” and the team will miss him in the remaining two T20 series against Australia, according to former India batsman Mohammad Kaif. Jadeja was knocked out of the first T20 in Canberra on Friday and has been ruled out of the series.

“In two successive matches, Jadeja has proved why India is important in limited overs cricket,” Kaif said. They provide the necessary balance for the team.

He tweeted, ‘He’s been underestimated even after 11 years (in international cricket). He deserves more than he gets. “In the first T20 International of the current series, Jadeja scored 44 off 23 balls and brought the Indian team to a big score. However, he was injured by Michael Sentner’s bouncer’s helmet. Leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal came to the field during Indian bowling as a concussion option.
