He has not been called back to campus on behalf of the university administration. Not even the university library is open to them, and outside libraries have no access to them. At the same time, many research students also have to do fieldwork for their research papers, which could not be done due to an epidemic.

The university has the autonomy to extend the semester
At the School of Social Sciences Board of Studies meeting on November 17, officials of the JNU Teachers Union informed the dean members that the university had asked the UGC to extend the semester in writing. The teachers union wants to say that the university does not need to go to UGC for this. The statutory bodies of the university have this authority. JNU has autonomy for this. Dual teacher leaders have urged the Vice Chancellor to cite a short period of time as they seek early measures to ize formalize the semester extension.

The creation of the JNU Health Center should be strengthened
