The defamatory case filed by composer Javed Akhtar may only increase the odds of actress Kangana Ranaut. Mumbai’s Metropolitan Court has issued a bail warrant against Kangana. The warrant has been issued against Kangana for not appearing in a defamation case.
Let me tell you that in a television interview with Kangana Ranaut, Javed Akhtar had made a criminal complaint last November that he had made defamatory and baseless remarks to the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate.

In his complaint, Javed Akhtar claimed that Kangana had lied that Akhtar had been threatened by him to remain silent about his relationship with Hrithik Roshan. It has damaged Akhtar’s public image, the complaint said. Kangana was ordered to appear in the case but a warrant was issued as she did not do so.
