Kia India has released an updated incarnation of its Kia Sonnet and Kia Cellos vehicles. The company’s sub-compact SUV Kia Sonnet starts at Rs 6.79 lakh, while the compact SUV Kia Celtos starts at Rs 9.95 lakh. (Ex-showroom) is. Both vehicles come with Kia’s brand new Lam with. What is the new price
The new sonnet is now available in a total of 17 variants, and Celltos is now available in a total of 16 variants. Both new trains are receiving bookings at the company’s dealership. As for the price, the base model of the sonnet (1.2-liter petrol HTE5 MT) is priced at Rs 6.79 lakh. And the top model (1.5-liter Diesel GTX + AT) is priced at Rs 13.25 lakh. Similarly, the base model of Celltos (1.5-liter petrol HTE 6 MT) is priced at Rs 9.95 lakh. And the top model (1.5-liter CRD Diesel GTX + 6 AT) is priced at Rs 17.65 lakh.
Considering current demand from customers, the company has introduced yet another premium variant of the 2021 Celltos – the 1.4T-GDI petrol GTX (O). Similarly, Sonnet’s most popular HTX trim is now available with the automatic option – the HTX 7 DCT (1.0-liter T-GDI petrol) and the HTX 6 AT (1.5-liter diesel).
New features of the 2021 Celltos SUV
In 2021, Kia Celltos has introduced 17 new features, including ‘virus and bacteria’ protection, the first in-segment smart clean air purification, remote engine launch in manual transmission, wireless phone projection on the car’s touch screen, and on air (OTA). Map update, additional voice command added to UVO connected car system. The car’s IMT variants have sunroof, beige and black interior and fully automatic air conditioning. For safety, the company has decided to offer Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA) and Hill Assist Control (HAC) features in lower variants.

New Features of the 2021 Sonnet SUV
Kia Sonnet 2021 has been updated with 10 new features, including the first new segment’s front door sunshade curtains, sunroof open and the first in-segment voice command for Close. Kia has introduced features such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA) and Hill Assist Control (HAC) to the lower variants of the Sub Compact SUV. Lower variants get electric sunroof, smart key with push-button start, remote engine start, chrome door handle and crystal cut alloy with silver wheel cap and more.

Sonnet gets a new engine option
There is no change in the Kia Celto’s engine. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter SmartStream petrol, a 1.4-liter SmartStream T-GDI petrol and a 1.5-liter CRD VGT diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), 6-speed torque converter, 7-speed DCT automatic and 6-speed IMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission). On the other hand, the Sonnet will come with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. In addition, the 1.0-liter turbo T-GD petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines are offered. Transmission options for the Sonnet include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed IMT, a 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DCT automatic.
