Due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases, the Haryana government on Wednesday announced summer vacation in state schools till May 31. Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal tweeted on Wednesday that there will be a summer holiday in schools from April 22 to May 31.
At the beginning of the month, the state government decided to close schools for students up to grade 8 through April 30, but then closed schools for all classes of students due to an increase in coronavirus cases. However, teachers were allowed to go to school to produce test results.
Teachers come to schools on a regular basis, the Education Minister says. In addition to the safety of children, the safety of teachers is our responsibility. Summer holidays are declared in all the schools of Haryana.
