How to link Aadhaar with your mobile number through OTP

You can link your mobile number with Aadhaar and re-check it with OTP. However, for customers only, their mobile numbers are already linked to their Aadhaar, which they are able to use. Customers should follow the offline process of linking their SIM card with Aadhaar to mobile number by visiting the seller or shop, if their mobile number is not connected with Aadhaar. • Call 14546 * from your mobile number.
• Choose whether you are Indian or NRI
• Give your consent to review Aadhaar by pressing 1
• Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number and press 1 to confirm it
• It generates OTP, which is sent to a registered mobile number
• Agree with your operator to access your name, photo and DOB from UIDAI
• IVR reads the last 4 digits of your mobile number
• If it is correct, enter the received OTP
• Press 1 to complete the process

Offline way to link mobile number with Aadhaar: To link your Aadhaar with your phone number, you need to visit your mobile network store. Follow these steps to easily link your Aadhaar number with a mobile number:

• Go to your Mobile Network Center / Store
• Carry a photocopy of your Aadhaar card
• Give your mobile number
• The OTP needs to be sent to the mobile number to be linked with the central employee Aadhaar
• Tell the employee to OTP for verification
• Now give the employee your fingerprint
• You will receive a validation SMS from your mobile network
• Answer by typing “Y” to complete the e-KYC process
