Under the new excise system of the Madhya Pradesh government’s current fiscal year, the country’s liquor will also be supplied in 90ml bottles so that people with less money can buy liquor from a government store. The reason behind the decision was the Shivraj government’s argument that people should be protected from the dangers of consuming toxic alcohol in the greed of cheap liquor. The new excise system, which was approved at the Cabinet meeting on Friday, chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, has been approved, a top state official said on Saturday.

It states, “The country’s liquor must be delivered at 90 ml capacity. Initially, it is mandatory to fill at least 10 percent of the 90ml packing. Then the ratio will be much lower than the demand. Madhya Pradesh Excise Commissioner Rajiv Dubey told PTI, “The closure of liquor stores due to corona curfew is estimated to cost around Rs 32 crore every day. The Corona curfew has been known to be in effect in the state since April 20.
English liquor is only in a 90 ml bottle
English liquor currently manufactured in India is sold in 90 ml bottles. Generally speaking, this pack is called a baby or dog. The government has decided to supply the country’s liquor in 90 ml bottles during the period from October to January in Ujjain and Morena districts where 38 people died of cheap poisoning. Most of them are homeless people and beggars.
An offer to sell alcohol online was rejected
The Cabinet did not accept the proposal to sell liquor online. The proposal is due to the Corona Curfew. Alcohol is being sold online in 12 states, including Matthias. The new excise system will be approved by the Cabinet from June 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 for the remainder of the financial year 2021-22, the official said. The state government has issued instructions to implement the approved excise system in the state.

Under the new system, the Department of Commerce has directed the Excise Commissioner to complete the renovation work on May 18, 2021 at 5 pm. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Tax, R.P. Provisions made in the new system under the order issued by Srivastava. Currently, state liquor stores are given the option to renew contracts for the period from June 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022, keeping all terms and conditions of 2020-21.
To calculate the 10-month value of the year 2020-21 for renewal, on 31 March 2021, the accepted value of live contracts will be made 365 days on a prorata basis, one of which will be real from April 2020 to May 31, 2020. The price (which weighs about 30 percent for the first quarter) is reduced. If the price received for these 10 months increases by 10 percent, the renewal price will be set for June 1, 2021 to March 22, 2022.
