Manish Kumar receives country’s first coronavirus vaccine

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a nationwide vaccine campaign on Saturday for the fight against corona and the country’s first coronavirus vaccine was held in Ames, Delhi. The vaccinators are Ames’ scavengers and he is named Manish Kumar.

Manish Kumar was given the first coronavirus vaccine at AIMS in the presence of Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and AIMS Director Randeep Guleria. Subsequently, AIMS director Randeep Gularia injected the corona virus.

After the vaccination campaign began, the Union Health Minister said, ‘I am very happy today, the vaccine will serve as a lifeline in the war against COVID-19. India had previously won the war against polio and smallpox and now India has reached the critical stage of winning the war against Kovid-19 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
