Many of the gates of the Delhi Metro’s green line have been closed, know why

The entrance and exit gates of all stations from Tikri Kalan to Brig Hoshiar Singh in the Green Line section of the Delhi Metro were closed on Monday morning. However, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has not given any reason to close the metro stations.

“Security Update: The entrance / exit gates of the stations from Tikri Kalan to Brig Hoshiar Singh have been closed,” the DMRC said in a tweet on its official Twitter handle.

There are three stations: Tiki Border, Pandit Shri Ram Sharma (Modern Industrial Estate) and Bahadurga City.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, a large number of women from Punjab have joined the picket line at the Delhi-Haryana border on the Tikri border to join the peasant movement against the new agricultural laws. It is believed that the DMRC has taken this precautionary measure. At this time female protesters said we would urge the central government to bring back three black laws.

What is special is that the chaos of the center’s three new agricultural laws is still intact. Farmers who are adamant in repealing the laws have declared a cross-border war with the government on the issue. For this, the farmers’ movement on the border of Delhi continues till date 102. Farmers have appealed to the government to accept their demands quickly. At the same time, it has been made clear by the government that the law will not be revoked, but amendment is possible. Farmers’ unions have intensified their agitation against the Center’s three agrarian laws and held a fast throughout the day on Monday.

Explain that farmers have recently enacted three new agricultural laws – the Manufacturers’ Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, Price Guarantee and Agricultural Services Act, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act of 2020 . While the government is presenting these laws as a major reform of the agriculture sector, new legislators are worried that the MSP (minimum support price) and kneeling system will end and they will rely on large corporate houses.
