Hassan: An unidentified four-year-old elephant was found lying in a coffee plantation on the sidelines of a coffee plantation near the Malali village of Sakaleshpur taluk in the district.
Anil, a resident of Malali village in Sakleshpur district, gave birth to an elephant girl four days ago. The elephant cub has been lying in a coffee plantation since the day it was born. Initially the mother elephant tried to take her cousin with her. But seeing Marianne, who can’t stand up, is dumb.
A mother elephant who goes into a coffee plantation to eat food comes back to her camp and tries to breastfeed. However, the owner of the plant, Anil, said that Marianne had fallen asleep.
As soon as the mother went to eat the elephant, the forest staff and paramedics near Marianne came to work treating the artificial. However, local Suresh Alva said Marianne had not yet recovered. This is why locals are appealing for Maria to be treated elsewhere and given more treatment.
