Mini today introduced the updated models of its three cars in the Indian market. It features an updated mini 3-door, convertible and John Cooper Works (JCW). The company has launched these cars with just one petrol engine. Some of these are cosmetic changes that are different from the previous model. Newly designed alloy wheels and upholstery are provided with new colors.
The starting price of the mini three door version is Rs 38 lakh. Convertible and John Cooper Works hatchback costs Rs 44 lakh and Rs 45.50 lakh respectively. (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Visually, the 2021 Mini comes with a new 3-door hatchback and convertible. These include the hexagonal radiator grille, new air intakes, round LED headlights, redesigned side skulls with LED blinkers, and tail lamps with British-flag-inspired graphics.
On the other hand, the new 2021 Mini John Cooper Works hatchback receives a new hexagonal radiator grille with distinctive red trim pieces, contrasting color bonnet strips, roof and mirror caps and contrasting aerodynamic features. The standard 3-door hatchback and convertible models have 17-inch alloy wheels on one side, while the company offers 18-inch wheels at John Cooper Works.
The cabin of the car is more or less the same as the previous model, although some changes have been made to it. For example, it now has a standard 8.8-inch touchscreen and 5.0-inch digital instrument display. As equipment, it receives standard features such as auto LED headlamps, auto wipers, rear parking sensors, rear view camera, auto climate control, height adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, dual airbags, ABS, traction control and stability control.
The company used a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine in these cars. The 3-door and convertible engine produces 192 hp of power and 280 Nm of torque, matching the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. On the other hand, the John Cooper Works engine produces 231 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque, with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

These three models of the Mini are also good in terms of speed. The Mini 3-Door Hatch can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.7 seconds, and the Mini Convertible accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.1 seconds. On the other hand, the Mini John Cooper Works hatchback accelerates to 100 km / h in just 6.1 seconds.
