GST Collection June 2021: Over the past several months, there may be a break in the GST collection process of more than one trillion rupees in the next month. According to the valuation, trade was affected by widespread lockout in many states in May, which could lead to a decline in GST earnings.
According to data from the GST network portal, e-way bill production fell sharply in May this year. According to April, e-way bills were 30 percent lower in May. About 4 crore e-way bills were issued in May and Rs 5.87 crore in April.

According to experts, this means business is down. In such a situation, any returns will be filed in the month of June or the collection of tax returns will be made by the department, which may also be reduced. GST collections of transactions made in May will be made until June 30, and final figures will be released on July 1.
Since the second wave, there has been a slowdown in business in April, and the GST collection is only 1.02 trillion rupees.
However, there are signs of improvement in the business in the coming months. June e-way bill figures show a 15-20% increase compared to May. As of June 27, 4.75 crore e-way bills had been issued.
