MPSC Prelims Exam 2020: Maharashtra Minister writes to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on objection to MPSC exam questions

MPSC Prelims Exam 2020: Maharashtra Minister and Congress leader Yashomati Thakur on Tuesday objected to some of the questions asked during the MPSC exam on March 23 and described them as “political and” RSS or BJP-inspired curriculum.

Thakur, Minister of Women and Child Development, Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, wrote to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on March 26 on the issue. Thakur wrote, “There is an essay in the MPSC exam paper, in which the Center is called the Modi Government, not the Central or Government of India. There was also a statement in the same letter which stated that the then independent government of the Congress government had adopted the British education system. This is virtually incorrect.

It says, “Millions of students take exams every year. Even in previous exams there were some questions about manhood. The politicization of such exams should be avoided as soon as possible.

Thakur demanded that the state take stringent action against the paper makers of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC).
