Billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Industries Ltd has bought Stoke Park, Britain’s iconic country club and luxury golf resort, for 70 70 5.70 million (Rs 592 crore). Reliance Industries has announced 3 3.3 billion acquisitions in the last four years. Of this, 14 percent is in retail, 80 percent in technology, media and telecoms, while the remaining six percent is in the energy sector. Britain’s Stoke Park will become part of its consumer and hospitality sector, Reliance said in a regulatory notice late on Thursday. The company owns a hotel and golf course in Buckinghamshire, UK.
