Mumbai Cricket Association’s big decision for T20 Mumbai League, postponed by Corona

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has decided to postpone its T20 league in the wake of the rise of Kovid-19 cases in the country. In a MCA press release, “The Mumbai Cricket Association has decided to postpone its T20 league until further notice, keeping in view the current state of the country’s Kovid-19 pandemic and the safety of all stakeholders”.

In another tweet, T20 Mumbai League Steering Council President Milind Narvekar said the decision was taken to reduce the workload of the machinery of the government. “With the current situation (MCA) president Vijay Patil and the chairman, I have decided not to host the T20 Mumbai League until further notice,” he said. This is our way of reducing the burden on government machinery and we want to make sure everyone is safe.
