Mumbai Police Commissioner on Sushant Singh Rajput death case – CBI investigation report is no different from ours

As for the investigation into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Mumbai Police Commissioner has said that I am sure the CBI will soon come to a decision that is no different from ours. The Mumbai Police Commissioner, the Supreme Court has also called our investigation a professional but said that people are trying to discredit us for corrupt interests. I will tell you that the CBI has been investigating the case in a ‘complete and professional manner’ a day before the 31st of December. No aspect of it has been dismissed so far. The CBI issued the statement in response to a letter written by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 30. Swamy demanded a joint investigation by the CBI, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) into Sushant’s death.

In a letter to the CBI, Swamy said that after taking over the investigation, a team of experienced investigators was formed to look into the circumstances surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death. The investigating team met with senior officials from Aligarh, Faridabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Manesar (Gurgaon) and Patna.

An investigation team and senior officials visited the site to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. The CBI, in a letter to Swamy on December 30, said that experts from the Central CBI Science Laboratory in New Delhi also visited the site and investigated. The experts also conducted a simulation exercise. He said, ‘The CBI is conducting a thorough and professional investigation using the latest scientific techniques. At the time of the investigation, all the elements were being reviewed and so far no factor has been dismissed.
