A group of doctors have filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the postponement of the NEET PG test, in view of the increase in Covid-19 cases. The admission test for PG courses in medical colleges across the country will be held on April 18. It has 1.70 lakh students across the country.
According to Live Law News, the petition stated that many of the candidates offered by NEET PG nowadays are treating corona patients. Calling them a test center to take the test could endanger the lives of thousands.
The petition referred to the central government’s decision to cancel the CBSE 10th examination and postpone the 12th examination
Applicants have previously said that the private PG test was to be conducted in January 2021 but was postponed due to Kovid-19 status. But then the situation was better than ever. Then there were fewer cases of corona infection.
