She asks if Anu receives a marriage proposal from a rich and good family, and the groom is a good man, Anu is his age, Subu replies that he is not stupid to reject such a good marriage proposal.
He asks why she is like that. Pushba says Raji and Jayanti Anu want to marry Chandru. He says that he has talked to her about this, that after he and Anu talk to her, she will make her feel. She adds that Chandru is a good person, his family is also good, they are all very in love with Anu. Subu reminds her that Anu has gone there to get their land and when they find out about it they ask how they can deal with them. He asks Anu to compete on his plan and return to Chennai, then he will talk if he still wants the offer. Subu coughs badly.
