Neethane Enthan Ponvasantham 12th February 2021 Written Update
The serial begins with Anu and Chandru going by car to the Kaligabal temple. They have friendly talks. Chandra asks the passers-by on the way to the Kaligabal temple. Those passersby become friends of Sangioli. Chandru tells Sangali that he is going to Kaligabal temple. Sangili remembers how Chandru shot her. He asks if he is going alone. His friend tells him a girl, but she doesn’t look local. Sangili says he comes with his people. He claims that his son died young, and the same fate was written for Chandru.
In Chennai, Raghupati and Shantha, a resident of Ranjini, a settler, met Raghupati Anu’s office manager and learned that Anu had not gone out of town for office work, but that she had gone with the sun. He says Subu knows about this. Shanta does not believe him at first, but then begins to believe him. Raghupati and Ranjini are delighted to think that Shantha now spreads these rumors to the entire colony.
Anu and Chandru reach the temple. The mechanic sent by Jayanti, do something with Chandru’s car so that the car gets repaired in the middle and informs Jayanti. The second is that Anu and Chandra think they can spend some time alone and have a heart to heart conversation. Anu lights up Diya and pays Devi that the sun will soon admit her love for him.
Chandra prays to Devi for her and Sam’s marriage. The moon forces Anu to tell her why she lit up Dia. Anu says that one of the shrines in the temple illuminates Diya on the full moon day and her friend says that she will marry a loved one. Chandru also wants to illuminate Diya. Anu stops him as only girls can perform this ritual. He asks her to suggest any temple where the boys light up Diya to marry a loved one. Anu teases him.
Surya and Narayan are returning from the market. Surya noticed Leela getting on the bike with the boy and entering the temple. He gets rid of Narayana and goes behind him. Lila and Satonsh pray to God and then sit down to discuss. Santosh has suggested that Leela visit Vellore Kottai the next day. Leela is reluctant, but Santosh persuades her. They leave. Surya hears it. Surya and Narayan return home. Surya asks Pushba where is Anu. She says she doesn’t know. She inquires of Jayanti and learns that she has gone to the temple with Chandru. She worries for Anu. The sun is reassuring to her.
Chandru and Anu discuss urban life and village life. Suddenly the car breaks down. Chandru checks the engine, but can’t figure out what the problem is. He phones a nearby mechanic, but he’s out of town. He tries to get help from his friends but none is available.
Anu panic. She phones the sun. She says her car was broken and she was scared. Surya asks for her place and gives her courage. When she speaks on the phone, her mobile switches off. Surya rides on Narayana’s bike. Anu sees some masked men coming towards them. She is signing Chandru. The latter orders Anu to sit in the car and not get out. Anu obeys.
The goons attack Chandru. They hit him. Sangali covers him with his face covered. He hits Chandru and breaks his leg. He’s going to break his head, the sun’s out there. He gives a kick. He fights with goons. Surya catches Sangali and reveals his face. Seeing Sangili is shocked.
