The serial begins with Chandru threatening to kill the Ponnathal family. Shanmugam asks him to stay quiet. Ponnathal tells her they won’t leave their family until she gets the answer and walks away.
At the dinner table, Padma serves food to Krishna and Srinivasan. Krishna met Mayil and told him about the granite quarry available for sale. Srinivasan says he doesn’t have enough money to buy the quarry, and he knows nothing about the sector. Krishnan says he cannot start any business after gaining full knowledge. Padma agrees with him. Srinivasan asks how much he is saying. Krishna says 15 crores.
Srinivasan, Padma and Krishna’s wife are traumatized. They say they don’t have such a large sum. Krishna says he owns his house, he can get 15 crores by mortgaging his house. His family disagrees with him. Srinivasan suggests doing any small business that does not require huge investment. Krishna is adamant. He says he decided to take out a loan and buy a quarry with that money. He was going out to meet Moyle on the matter. Srinivasan’s mother says Kriyhna is stubborn and she cannot change her decision.
Narayanan scolds the goon for not being able to kill the old woman. The goon claims that Annammal came in another car so he could not execute his plan properly. He asks to be paid half of what he decided to do because he got into a heap of bad trash from that driver. Narayanan has refused. He says he was unable to complete the given task and one of them left a clue. If the driver finds them, they go to jail so they ask to be kept secret. The goon says if he gets caught, he says his name. Narayanan says he cannot prove that he hired Annammal to kill him.
Sangili and his wife are waiting for Ponganathal’s return. The second comes back. He asks if they have insulted her. He says he will handle the matter and asks her to lead a happy life with his son. Over the next two weeks, Annammal’s death will take place in his family. Ponnathal says he can’t escape after killing someone. She says her son Santosh will avenge her father’s death. He blames the Suryavamsa family and asks Sangili to do nothing.
Lila and her friend are going on a bike. They notice Santosh doing a walking limp. Leila rushes to leave them home. He agrees. She asks him to hold his shoulders. Santosh laughs. Jayanti tells Shakaran to come with her to talk to Pushba about Anu and Chandru’s marriage so that their son Surya and Sam’s marriage will not be interrupted. Shakaran advises her not to get involved in other people’s matters. Since she does not want to listen to him, he asks her to do what she wants, but he does not come with her.
Leela puts Santosh in her house. Santosh introduces Leela to his mother. Thank you Ponnathal. Leela takes her leave. Then Sangili tells Santosh not to be happy soon, he still has a lot to accomplish. Ponnathal says that Lila must be mad at her love and that she cannot live without it. She threatens to kill Santosh if he fails to get Lila in his love.
Krishna’s family is trying to change their decision to mortgage their house. Krishna says that Maiil thinks it is very easy to arrange Rs 15 crore as he is a relative of Annammal. The people of the village mock them and say that they cannot get any support from Srinivasan’s son-in-law if they cannot arrange for money. Padma says she will talk to Annammal on this issue.
Narayanan returns home. He wonders where the sun hides the tiger’s nail and looks for it. Chandru gets there. He mocks Narayan and leaves. Narayanan continues his serach in the kitchen. Anu asks what he is doing here this time. She asks him to speak softly so as not to disturb the sleep of the sun. He makes some excuses and sends her back. Then comes Pushba. Narayanan makes excuses and sends Pushba back. Surya wakes up from sleep. He warns us not to go back here in search of anything. Narayanan panics and runs away. The sun chuckles.
