On extension of all examinations conducted through MPSC

The decision to postpone all the examinations of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission was taken due to the Kovid-19 situation, the Chief Secretary of the state informed in the cabinet meeting today. The revised schedule will be announced later. The Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducted the State Service Main Examination 2020 on September 20. The exam had been postponed not once but twice before.

This exam has been postponed twice so far. The first MPSC pre-examination was scheduled to be held on April 5, 2020 as per the regular schedule. However, due to the situation caused by Corona, the examination was postponed and it was decided to hold it on September 13, 2020. The circular was issued on June 17. However, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test was held on September 13. Therefore, it was announced that the MPSC pre-examination will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 instead of September 13. But now due to the state of Kovid-19 in the state, not only the pre-examination but also all the MPSC examinations in the meantime have been postponed.

Apart from State Service Pre-Examination, Maharashtra Secondary Service Non-Gazetted Group-B Joint Pre-Examination 2020 was to be held on 11th October. She, too, has fallen on deaf ears.
