Opposition to online exams, demand for teachers’ union – offline exams in schools

An executive meeting of the Government Primary Teachers Union was held on Monday. The union protested against the online test at the meeting. The association should not conduct all classroom tests offline.

District head Dushyant Thakaran said the government’s decision to conduct annual examinations through online media is a condemnation. When the kids come to school, he said. So offline tests have to be done. Children and parents face a lot of difficulties getting online testing. The first and second class examinations will be conducted through the offline media, starting March 26. The exams will be held from 3 to 5 pm through online media.

General secretary Ashok Prajapati said all the children were in school. So why not give them their annual exam at school as before? But there is a huge difference between Lowdown time and today. Then the parents lived in the house and the children had phone access. But today most parents go to work in the morning so that children are not able to deliver paper online, but the department is still forcing them to do the work.
