Patna High Court order to declare STET results, leading to appointment of 37000 teachers in Bihar

Bihar STET Result 2021: The Patna High Court has ordered the Bihar Board to declare the STET result. This has led to the recruitment of teachers in the state’s secondary and secondary schools.

The High Court, which held hearings on Thursday, upheld the board’s online examination. It is also approved to declare online STET results. However, the court has directed the state government and the Bihar School Examination Committee to prepare the syllabus for STET in future.

The single bench of Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah gave the order after hearing the petition filed on behalf of Aditya Prakash and others. The court was told that the online test was taken without releasing the syllabus of the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test. But the board had informed the state government and approved it for online testing. He urged the court to cancel the online process, including online testing.

Meanwhile, Lalit Kishore and Jnanashankar, advocates on behalf of the state government and the board, told the court that it was decided to take the STET Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test online in view of coronavirus infection. He said online testing was safe during the Corona era. It is not right to question this. The court accepted the board’s appeal and called the online examination a proper decision, saying that the application had been implemented and that the curriculum for future STET should be done.

The case has been pending for a year and a half
Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 Notification has been released in September 2019. The offline test was conducted on January 28, 2020. In this test, curriculum questions were raised in four centers. The riot students had applied in the High Court. Meanwhile, the test has been canceled after the detection of anemia. The Bihar Board then took the online test in September 2020. In this, some students had applied for a stay out of the syllabus. The High Court has blocked the release of the result on November 26, 2020. The High Court, which heard on Thursday, upheld the online test and ordered the release of the results.

37 thousand teachers will be re-appointed
Based on this notification, 37 thousand 335 teachers in secondary and higher secondary schools are required to be employed. It has 25 thousand 270 posts for secondary and 12 thousand 65 posts for top secondary teachers. STET took place seven years later. This in turn eased the age limit.
