Petrol and diesel rates will thus be increased
Once excise duty, dealer commission and other items are added to the price of petrol and diesel, its price will double. If the central government excludes excise duty and state governments’ VAT, diesel and petrol rates may be around Rs 27 per liter, but neither central nor state government can remove the tax at any cost. Because the bulk of the revenue comes from here. This money leads to growth.
Prices are set every morning
In fact, in addition to foreign exchange rates, petrol and diesel prices fluctuate daily depending on the crude price in the international market. Oil market companies set petrol and diesel prices every day after checking prices. Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise petrol and diesel rates at 6am every morning.
