Petrol Diesel Price Today 27 May 2021: Petrol and Diesel Prices Not Solved Today. Petrol and diesel prices have again increased by state oil companies today. Today, the price of diesel is increased from 29 to 30 paise and the price of petrol from 23 to 24 paise. While petrol has crossed the 100 mark in many cities, diesel in Rajasthan’s Sriranganagar is also close to a century old. Petrol and diesel rates will thus increase
Once excise duty, dealer commission and other items are added to the price of petrol and diesel, its price will double. If the central government excludes excise duty and state governments’ VAT, diesel and petrol rates may be around Rs 27 per liter, but neither the central nor the state government can remove the tax at any cost. Because the bulk of the revenue comes from here. This money leads to growth.
