The Prime Minister’s ambitious project was launched to address people below the poverty line. The project was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2016. First, under this scheme, 5 crore women below the poverty line had to be provided with gas. In April 2018, the central government added 7 other categories including AC, ST, OBC. Now this project is being expanded. Under this scheme, the beneficiary who is an LPG affiliate will also get a free stove.

These documents are required

  • For sparkling gas connections, applicants must have an Aadhaar card.
  • Must have BPL card issued by the state government.
  • Must have a bank account and additionally require EKYC.

Follow these steps for a bright 2.0 gas connection –

Applicants must first login to pmuy.gov.in.

As soon as Pmuy.gov.in is open, click on the App for New Ujwala 2.0 Connection.

Here you will see a selection of three different companies (HP, Indane and Bharat Petroleum). Here you can click on the company option near the gas agency.

After this you will be asked for some important information. After filling it carefully submit it.

If you wish, download the form and fill it out and submit it to the agency.
