PM Modi – Digital India is the way to live in Bangalore Tech Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Karnataka’s premier annual technology conference ‘Bangalore Technology Summit -2020’ with video conferencing today On this occasion PM Modi said that digital India has become a way of life in India. The conference is being held from the 19th to the 21st. The Government of Karnataka is hosting the Summit in collaboration with the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society and the Software Technology Parks of India. The Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society is the state government information group on information technology, biotechnology and startups.

After inaugurating the Virtual Bangalore Tech Summit, PM Modi said we launched the Digital India Mission five years ago. Today I am happy to say that I do not see Digital India as a general government program. It is a way of life, especially for the poor and marginalized.

PM Modi said we have increased the respect of human beings through technology. 1 crore farmers got financial assistance in 1 click. When the corona lockdown was at its peak, technology ensured that the poor could get help quickly and appropriately. If India is successfully running the world’s largest health plan, the reason is technology.

“We have made a lot of arrangements for BTS to succeed,” said CN Ashwath Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of IT, BT and S&T after visiting the BTS 2020 center. The event will be completely virtual. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Switzerland’s Vice President Guy Parmelin will also address the event.

Nearly 25 countries are participating in the 23rd edition. More than 200 Indian companies are participating in the event and they are putting on their virtual shows. More than 4,000 delegates and 270 speakers will attend the conference. There will be 75 discussion sessions at the conference. More than 50,000 participants participate in the event every day.
