Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited three cities on Saturday to conduct a comprehensive review on the development and manufacture of the corona virus vaccine. The Prime Minister first visited the Yd Tidus Cadila Park in Ahmedabad, then Bharat Biotech in Hyderabad and finally the Serum Institute in Pune.
In a statement issued by the PMO after the Prime Minister’s visit, the Prime Minister stressed that India considers the vaccine to be good not only for good health but also for the world. And it is our duty to help other countries, including neighboring countries, in the collective fight against the virus.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that the purpose of the day-long visit was to gain insight into factors such as challenges, preparedness and roadmap in India’s efforts in the immunity of citizens.
Simultaneously, PM Modi tweeted, visited yd Tidus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad and found out more about the DNA-based local vaccine being developed by yd Tides Cadilla. I applaud the team effort in this task. The Government of India is actively working with them to support them on this journey.
