Pune: Case against former MP Dhananjay Mahadik, son’s marriage rules, former CM also involved

A case has been registered against former MP Dhananjay Mahadik of Pune and two others from Maharashtra for violating Kovid-19 measures. In fact, on February 21, Dhananjay was married to Mahadik’s son. NCP chief Sharad Pawar, BJP leader and former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Haryana deputy CM Dushyant Chautala were also present.

Explain that in view of the growing number of corona cases in the state, a week-long lockdown has been imposed in Amravati from today, followed by a night curfew in Pune. Even after this the wedding ceremony took place.

On Monday, 5,210 new coronavirus infections were reported in Maharashtra and no one has died due to an epidemic in the Mumbai metropolitan area in the last 24 hours. The Department of Health provided this information. Prior to this, more than six thousand cases of infection were reported daily for three consecutive days. According to an official statement, the total number of cases in the state has increased to 2106094 after the new cases came out.

On Monday, 1,364 new cases were reported in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area (MMR) and 1,154 in the Akola Region of Vidarbha region. According to the state government, 18 more patients have died since Monday’s Kovid-19, which has since risen to 51,806. Four more patients have died from Kovid-19 in Mumbai, according to statistics from the Brihanmumbai metropolitan area. So far 1999982 patients have been cured in the state. There are currently 52956 patients undergoing treatment in Maharashtra.
