Rakesh Tikite said: Farmers should be ready to move away from their home in Kolkata for a month

Rakesh Tikite, leader of the Indian Farmers’ Union, said he had been camping in Delhi for the past 3 months at Kisan Mahapanchayat in Balsamand, Hisar district, Haryana, on Thursday. The government thought the farmers would be back in 2 months. We will not return. We harvest our crops and then move to Kolkata. Get ready to move away from your home for a month to visit Kolkata.

Tikite said the harvest has come and they think it will go away in 1 month. There is a difference of 1 month for harvesting in Rajasthan and Punjab. The farmers of Rajasthan come and the farmers of the Punjab go to reap their crops.

In the Kisan Panchayat, the Tikite declaration, farmers will burn the crop if needed

Tikit reiterated that the farm should not be returned home until the law is repealed, saying that farmers should also be prepared to sacrifice their standing crop. He said the government should not live under the false notion that the agitation against the laws will end as farmers go home to harvest their crops.

While addressing the Mahapanchayat in Kharkapuni village of Hisar earlier, Baku said, “Why not set fire to your standing crop and be prepared for it?” The government should not be mistaken that farmers return home. We harvest our crops and keep up with our performance with it. That said, there will be no return until then.

Tikite asked to be prepared for the next call of peasant organizations leading the movement. After filling the oil in his tractors, he put his face to Delhi. You can be called to walk at any time, which is decided by the committee.

After Haryana, panchayats will be held in other parts of the country including West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat, Tikite said. If he had been invited to a tractor rally in Delhi before, he said he would go to Delhi with his farm equipment next time.
