A few days ago, Rajasthan Registrar of Education Department Examinations, Bikaner had scheduled 8th board exams from 2 pm to 4.30 pm from May 6 to May 25, which was fiercely opposed. Teachers and parents say it is more inappropriate to give 8th grade children a test during the midday heat in May. Following this, the Department of Education has sent a letter to the state government seeking to change the timing of the 8th Board Examination. Bikaner, the registrar of examinations at the Department of Education, requested permission from the state government to conduct the eighth board exam in the morning instead of noon in the wake of extreme heat in May. The Education Declaration issued a new Datesheet of Eighth Board Examination soon after it was approved by the State Government.
