REET 2020: Rajasthan government offers another big solution to REIT exam, reducing graduation weight marks

REAT 2020 Notification: Another big announcement has been made for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RIIT) to be held on April 25. The state government is now going to provide relief in the REET and graduation marks. Now there is a big solution in the weight of marks in the Reit Teacher Qualification Exam In Reit’s final exam, 90 per cent will be based on the exam, while the degree score will be reduced to 10 per cent. Previously, RIT was selected based on 70 per cent examination and 30 per cent of graduates. For a long time there was a demand to reduce the weight of graduation marks.

Dotasara said, ‘In the previous government era, the weighing system was 70-30 and it was amended to 90-10. Following the guidelines of the NCTE in two respects, we have instructed the Rajasthan Board to assemble the question of the geography of Rajasthan and the art and culture of Rajasthan.

The preparation of the common knowledge test in Rajasthan will greatly benefit the youth of the state.

The Rajasthan Board (RBSE) is expected to issue a notification in the last week of this month or the first week of January. The result is released after the REIT test. Following this, the Department of Education will start recruiting 31000 teachers whose ad will be released separately. It is worth noting that the Rajasthan government has announced to conduct an RIT exam on April 25 next year.

The validity of Reit’s eligibility certificate is up to 3 years from the date of issue. Previously, Reit’s eligibility was only for 3 years. Prior to 2015, it had a validity of 7 years.

5 to 20 percent of the eligibility scores rest
Earlier on Thursday, the Department of Education announced discounts on the Reit Teacher Eligibility Test for the various departments. Many classes were exempted from eligibility scores. According to the order, the reserved categories will receive a discount of 5 to 20 percent of the eligibility points. The minimum pass scores for the various categories in REET are set as follows.

General / Unreserved – 60 points (TSP and non-TSP)
Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 55 (Non-TSP), 36 (TSP)
Scheduled Caste (SC), OBC, MBC and Economic Vulnerable Sector – 55 points (TSP and non TSP)
Widows and Abandoned Women and Ex-servicemen of all classes – 50 points (TSP and Non TSP)
Divyang – 40 points (TSP and non TSP)
Saharia Tribe – 36 points (TSP and Non TSP)
