In the field of electric mobility, another new player has entered the Indian automobile industry today. Audi, the German automaker, today unveiled its long-awaited electric SUV Audi E-Tron. The company has already started booking this SUV, with a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.
The Audi E-Tron is available in two body styles – the standard E-Tron SUV and the e-Tron Sportback. Its standard model comes in two variants – E-Tron 50 and E-Tron 55 – priced at Rs 99.99 lakh and Rs 1.16 crore respectively. At the same time, the Sportback has been introduced in a single variant (Sportback 55), with a price tag of Rs 1.18 crore.
In the Audi E-Tron Electric SUV, the company offers matrix LED headlamps, adaptive air suspension and 4-zone climate control as standard. Other features of the SUV include panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charger, leather seats, power adjustable seats with memory function, Audi’s ‘Virtual Cockpit’ digital dial, 8 airbag and front and rear parking sensors. This SUV is offered with 20-inch alloy wheels.

The Audi E-Tron is offered in 8 exterior colors. These include Florest Silver, Catalunya Red, Galaxy Blue, Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, Siam Beige and Typhoon Gray. On the other hand, the e-Tron Sportback also comes with an additional plasma blue option, along with all the colors offered in the standard model. The cabin also comes in a choice of three different colors, including Mother of Pearl Beige, Black and Ocapi Brown.
Motor, battery and driving range:
The SUV comes with two electric motors, one front axle and the other rear axle. The e-Tron 50 is powered by a 71 kW battery pack that delivers a driving range of 264 to 379 km. Its electric motor produces 313bhp and 540Nm of torque. The SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in just 6.8 seconds, according to the company.
At the same time, the company has delivered a 95 kW battery pack on the E-Tron 55 and Sportback 55 models. Its electric motor produces 408bhp and 664Nm of torque. This SUV has a driving range of 359 km to 484 km. The company claims to be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.7 seconds. It comes with an 11 kW compact charger and an additional 50 kW additional DC fast charger. This SUV comes with a 2-year standard warranty.
